Friday, July 22nd, 2016
Walk-Thrus Start at 3:45 PM First Run at 4:00 PM
Cost: $5 per run
BOTC will be holding an AKC Sanctioned Agility "B" Match late
Thursday afternoon July 27th (after Thursday's agility trial).
A Regulation AKC Standard agility course (Novice, Open and
Excellent levels) will be set up in the ring using the same
equipment that will be used for the trials on Thursday thru Sunday. Dogs do not need to be entered in the agility trial
to participate in the Thursday Night's "B" Match.
For experienced handlers, this is a great chance to exercise your dog - especially if you've driven into
Burlington that afternoon and would like to stretch your legs (and your dog's legs!).
For novice handlers or handlers with dogs that have never participated in an AKC agility trial before, a B Match is a wonderful opportunity to get a feel for the equipment, familiarize yourself with the rules and procedures and experience a real agility trial in a relaxed atmosphere before the competition begins. BOTC member Tom O'Brien - an AKC Agility Judge - will design the courses, "judge" your run and assist you in understanding the rules.
Registration will take place by mail between June 28th and 12th. The event is limited to 50 runs. Handlers may sign up for more than one run.
